Louis R. Rennillo, R.P.R., Chairman
As a reporter with over 40 years of professional experience, Lou knows the value of listening first. He also understands the power of communication with clients to make them feel comfortable. After all, he’s had a lifetime of experience in the field, which explains his revered status in the industry.
As a career Registered Professional Reporter(RPR), he demands precision and attention to detail. This is reflected in everything from the way Rennillo clients and cases are handled to the values implicit in the Rennillo organization. People matter, whether it is your clients, your employees or your community.
Lou opened Rennillo Court Reporting, Records and Media to provide litigation services with a two-fold competitive edge: ownership immersed in the industry and a mantra of always providing service through cutting edge technology. As a true entrepreneur, he has a natural instinct for keeping the big picture in mind and a keen eye for knowing which “new” technologies have true value to his clients. After all, he was the first reporter to embrace computer aided transcription, (CAT) in Northern Ohio.
Lou has always reminded those around him of the need to “give back” to the profession. Aside from his day job, Lou has served the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting(STAR), both as a Board Member and as President. He has also served on various committees of the National Court Reporters Association(NCRA). Lou returns to his Italian roots serving as a board member to the Northern Ohio Italian Association. He's also highly active in the Shaker community, where he resides with his wife, Irene and their two sons.
